Payne County Reserves


In the late 60’s Early 70’s Sheriff Frank Phillips started the Sheriff’s Posse. This posse consisted of local business men and farmers from all over Payne County. The Sheriff’s Posse was created to assist the five (5) Full time Deputies in the performance of their duties. The Reserve program has evolved over the years and is now call the Reserve Program. The Payne County Reserve program currently consist of eighteen (18) certified reserves.
